Description: Grof® Breathwork is a unique, powerful, experiential method of self-exploration and psychotherapy developed by Stanislav Grof and his late wife Christina, based on perennial wisdom traditions and the results of modern consciousness research.

A combination of simple means (accelerated breathing, evocative music, and energy-releasing bodywork) induces holotropic states of consciousness, and activates our inner healing capacity. Holotropic literally means “moving towards wholeness.”

The sessions are usually conducted in groups; participants work in pairs and alternate in the roles of “breathers” and “sitters.” The process is supervised by trained facilitators, who assist participants whenever special intervention is necessary.

Main facilitator: Eva Cállmin

Eva is a certified Grof® Breathwork Facilitator and a Grof Legacy Training Tutor and Supervisor. She has worked in a Crisis Intervention Center in California all throughout the 1980s. She has a degree in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, is a certified Mindfulness instructor, and has been a dipl. Kundalini yoga teacher for 30 years. She undertook the Grof Transpersonal Training in 1987-90 and has conducted breathwork workshops in Sweden ever since.

Sunday (optional): further integration and deepening of the experience

The Grof® Breathwork workshop will officially end on Saturday evening. However, for those who wish, we will offer activities on Sunday to help you with the integration process, followed by exercises to deepen your experience. These exercises will be based on IFS (Internal Family Systems), and the topic will be “Working with your mother and father wound”.
